THE PROBLEM

Due to media coverage of data leaks, cloud migration decision-makers shifted from IT and Eng leads to business leadership

Demand for cloud adoption hadn't slowed down, business leads were keeping a much closer eye on cloud migration and were concerned with the fall of a potential data leak or security incident that could occur if they did migrate. However, DivvyCloud did not have an easy way to help non-technical business leads understand their cloud health, nor a way for engineering leads to show proof that they were monitoring security risks and staying compliant with policies as they migrated to the cloud

Seeing this as a huge opportunity, we ventured to create a way to help non-technical business leads understand their cloud health and allow cloud migration to continue.

How might we make cloud compliance health understandable and accessible for business leads so they can allow for cloud adoption to continue? Additionally, how can we convert business leaders into DivvyCloud users?

THE SOLUTION

A cloud compliance dashboard within the DivvyCloud platform that:

  • Gives a score summarizing how compliant your entire cloud ecosystem is
  • Shows you where to focus, cloud resources with severe violations
  • Patterns and trends you can drill into for a path to violation resolution

THE IMPACT

+60% in DivvyCloud seat requests from existing customers

5 purchases from new customers during week 1 of launch

The impact we had showed us that not only did we meet the needs of current customers, but we met a market need.
